Rina-Green Noodle
Rina-Green Noodle (Irina Sinichkina) – Textile Artist
Born in 1970 in Moscow, Rina-Green Noodle is a textile artist who graduated from the Institute of Contemporary Art with a degree in Art History. Since 2016, she has been exploring textile art, reinterpreting the rug hooking technique to create tapestry paintings and volumetric textile sculptures from old clothing and recycled materials. She is a member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia (TSHR), within the Decorative and Applied Arts section.
Her works are infused with stories and memories embedded in fabrics that have traveled through time. By transforming discarded objects into new artistic forms, she unveils their hidden meanings. Her creations have been showcased at prominent Russian and international exhibitions.
In 2024, she presented her solo project “Atlas of Dreams” at the “Soul of Russia” quilting festival held at Gostiny Dvor. She also participated in the group exhibition “Archaeology of Sleep” at the House of Creativity of Writers in Peredelkino. Additionally, her solo exhibition “Moon in Pisces” took place at the “Textura” gallery in Moscow.
