Margarita Moreva

Margarita Moreva
Artist, architect, and visual narrator
Based between Novosibirsk and Berlin

Somewhere between the forests of Siberia and the measured silence of Berlin studios, Margarita Moreva builds spaces — not just architectural, but emotional, symbolic, and sensorial. Her world is made of wood and light, texture and reflection, scale and breath. Trained as an architect, Margarita does not separate form from meaning. Instead, she lets lines dissolve into surfaces, surfaces into stories. Her work spans across media — from monumental installations to jewelry, from glamping modules to digital experiments — but always comes back to one thing: the human in dialogue with the world. A pine tree, a shadow, a curve of a roof, a fragment of bark — everything can become a part of that exchange.

She is the founder and curator of the ARTWEEK festival and author of over a hundred works that move across exhibition halls, natural landscapes, and conceptual objects. Projects like SIVERIA, Dense Forest, or Pine Creek are less about building and more about belonging — placing presence gently into the logic of nature.

“The structure isn’t separate from the story. I try to shape spaces where something real can happen — silence, gaze, recognition, or transformation.”

In her installations and exhibitions — from Extasis to Am I, from Novosibirsk to Vilnius — Margarita fuses classical technique with digital sensibility. Her practice is grounded in a sense of myth, local materiality, and spatial empathy. Like many artists of her generation, she lives between geographies, between the classical and the speculative. And in that in-between — somewhere in the folds of paper, code, resin, and cedar — she carves out space for meaning to settle.
