A2 Galerie
A2Galerie is a contemporary gallery committed to the visual exploration of time, space, and color. Founded through the artistic vision of Natalia and Werner Awenius, the gallery presents a curated selection of international artists, uniting diverse perspectives and cultural narratives. The collection spans over 100 works across a range of media — including painting, drawing, mixed media, and object-based art. At the heart of its curatorial language is painting as a spatial-temporal practice, where perception, memory, and emotion are shaped through color, texture, and layered form.
A2 Galerie exhibits both contemporary works and important artistic legacies. Central to this is the collection of Vladimir Kordiukov, which serves as a dynamic driver for project-based interaction between artists across generations and geographies. His work not only enriches the gallery's visual discourse but also initiates creative dialogues that bridge temporal and cultural distances.
More than just an exhibition venue, A2 Galerie actively promotes contemporary art and cultivates multimodal artistic expressions — blending classical techniques with digital experimentation and poetic visual narratives. The gallery invites viewers to engage deeply with art as a space of reflection, emotion, and connection.

New Collection of Vladimir Kordiukov at A2 Galerie
A2 Galerie presents a unique collection of works by Vladimir Kordiukov (1953–2009) — a Soviet interdisciplinary artist, jewelry designer, painter, graphic artist, and sculptor.
The exhibition brings together key works from 2006–2007, where the artist experiments with materials, combining fiberboard, metal, fabric, hot enamel, and found objects. These works embody Kordiukov’s signature synthesis of Soviet art traditions with the explorations of postmodernism, suprematism, and cubism.
Vladimir Kordiukov participated in over 100 international exhibitions and gained recognition for his innovative methods and artistic language, which transcended traditional genres while maintaining a connection to the formal heritage of Soviet art.
A2 Galerie welcomes new resident artist Valeriia Burliuk
A2 Galerie is delighted to welcome Valeriia Burliuk as its new resident artist. Born in Moscow in 1993 and now based in Valencia, Burliuk is a spatial visual artist whose practice explores solitude, transformation, and the living dimension of space.
Her work expands from photography into installations, bio-art, and performative experiments, where sound, light, texture, and rhythm interact like elements of an organism. Trained in both classical fine arts and contemporary visual practices, and enriched by a fellowship at Bauhaus University Weimar, she combines scientific methodology with poetic intuition.
Burliuk studied at the British Higher School of Art and Design in Moscow and continued her artistic research as a visiting artist at Bauhaus University Weimar. Her works have been shown internationally, including solo and group exhibitions in Berlin, Weimar, and Moscow, with highlights such as the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art.
In addition to welcoming the artist, A2 Galerie now offers several of Valeriia Burliuk’s works for acquisition upon request. Among them are Sacrifice (2021), Obo (2021), Acceptance (2021), Poisoner (2023), Spring (2023), Solitude (2023), Swimmer in the Grass #1 (2023), Walkthrough (2023), and The Call (2023). These works are available in different formats and editions, making it possible for collectors to choose the scale and medium most fitting to their collection.
With her multidimensional practice, Valeriia Burliuk brings a new perspective to A2 Galerie’s program, and we are proud to present her as part of our artistic community.
