A2 Galerie
A2Galerie is a contemporary gallery committed to the visual exploration of time, space, and color. Founded through the artistic vision of Natalia and Werner Awenius, the gallery presents a curated selection of international artists, uniting diverse perspectives and cultural narratives. The collection spans over 100 works across a range of media — including painting, drawing, mixed media, and object-based art. At the heart of its curatorial language is painting as a spatial-temporal practice, where perception, memory, and emotion are shaped through color, texture, and layered form.
A2 Galerie exhibits both contemporary works and important artistic legacies. Central to this is the collection of Vladimir Kordiukov, which serves as a dynamic driver for project-based interaction between artists across generations and geographies. His work not only enriches the gallery's visual discourse but also initiates creative dialogues that bridge temporal and cultural distances.
More than just an exhibition venue, A2 Galerie actively promotes contemporary art and cultivates multimodal artistic expressions — blending classical techniques with digital experimentation and poetic visual narratives. The gallery invites viewers to engage deeply with art as a space of reflection, emotion, and connection.

A2 Galerie welcomes two new guest artists as of April 2025
We are pleased to announce that Kenneth Lekko and Alicia Valladares López have joined A2 Galerie as guest artists, expanding the gallery’s ongoing engagement with hybrid practices, media experimentation, and personal visual languages.
Kenneth Lekko (b. 1992, Estonia; based in Berlin) is a contemporary artist working across drawing, installation, performance, and text. Known for his sharp, subversive titles and emotionally layered compositions, Lekko’s work blends humor, desire, and existential tension. He has held solo exhibitions at Hashtag Gallery in Mexico City and ECC Berlin, and has participated in major group shows at Galerie Irrgang, Galerie M, Roam Projects, and the POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair. His evolving visual language draws on pop aesthetics, intimacy, and provocation.
Alicia Valladares López (b. 1997, Mexico; based in Potsdam) works with text, digital drawing, memory fragments, and expanded installation. Her recent exhibitions include Modes of Recall at Schau Fenster (Berlin), GRANJA at Zapopan Art Museum (Mexico), and The End of the Wonderfull at Museo del Chopo (UNAM). She is known for poetic titles, layered storytelling, and playful yet deeply reflective approaches to identity and emotion. She frequently collaborates with independent spaces and projects across Latin America and Europe.
Their works will be featured in upcoming shows and experimental formats across 2025–2026.
